Cardiff Story Museum

From the 1300s to the 1900s Cardiff was transformed from a small market town to one of the world’s biggest ports. Today the town is the cosmopolitan capital of Wales and the museum, housed in the beautiful Old Library building, tells the rich stories of Cardiff through the eyes of the people.

The community surrounding the Cardiff Story Museum are dedicated to its continuing development and this new interactive exhibit installed earlier this week acknowledges the support of companies, organisations and individuals who helped fund, and continue to fund, the exhibitions.

And for those passing by, the interactive also acts as a donation box should they wish to contribute.

Castleford Forum Interactives

This week has seen the installation of three new interactive exhibits at the soon to open museum at Castleford Forum. Each interactive explores a different facet of the town’s history from the archaeology of the Romans, through great artists such as Henry Moore to the passion of rugby league team Castleford Tigers.

Funding for new centre

We are delighted that the The University of Huddersfield’s Archives and Special Collections has received a grant of £1,585,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Wide Sky Design provided technical and creative support during the development of the Stage 2 bid and we look forward to visiting the collections when the new visitor experience opens.
