Sustainable design and development
Plas Mawr is a glorious Elizabethan townhouse from the 16th century. With assistance from Cadw the house has been restored to its original appearance and is now thought to be the best-preserved Elizabethan town house in the United Kingdom.
Built between 1575 and 1586 for Robert Wynne the house is located near the centre of Conwy. Wynne described the house as a “worthy, plentiful house”. The gardens have also been restored by Cadw.

We have completed refurbishment of several interactives that were installed a number of years ago. Using our experience of developing interactives over many years we have been able to recover the original media and incorporate it into new designs that better reflect modern standards for accessibility and interaction.
All interactives are available in Welsh and English.
Each interactive uses a similar interface to enable quick and easy navigation by simplifying content structure and encourage use through familiar controls.
